Weddings

The Hotel has a License to hold Civil Wedding Ceremonies on the premises.. However, we are of course very happy to cater for those who wish to have a Church or Registry Office Wedding and just use Beachlands Hotel for the Reception afterwards.

We have, for the first time, been awarded 3 Stars from all of the major inspection panels in the Hotel Industry, namely the RAC, AA and English Tourism Council. A considerable percentage of the marks given are based on the quality & standard of food presented in the Restaurant and also the level of customer care shown by our staff, here are a couple of the comments given by the Inspectors about are award winning team;

THE BRIDAL PACKAGE

To make the Brides Day even more special , why not treat her to the following luxury package of pampering and spoiling to help ease away the strains and stresses of the weeks building up to this important day.

The Bride arrives at Beachlands Hotel the day before her Wedding.
 
 
She checks into a Double Upgrade Room where complimentary Basket of Fruit, ‘Bubbly’ and Chocolates await.
 
 
Let her enjoy a relaxing Swim in our Indoor Pool and unwind in the Sauna. Two of her friends can join her if she likes.
 
 
The afternoon is then free to relax or make that last minute visit to the Hairdressers!
 
 
In the evening she can enjoy a wonderful meal in our restaurant with a friend (if you wish to have more friends that is no problem we can charge them accordingly)
 
 
Having said goodnight to her friends, She can then retire to her room for a peaceful night's sleep.
 
 
In the morning we will serve her breakfast in bed with fresh flowers and a chilled glass of Bucks Fizz on the tray - a perfect start to what we are sure will be her perfect day.
 
 
We are more than happy for any stylists to come to the Hotel during the morning to help the bride get ready.
 
 
The room will then be available to the bride & groom throughout their Wedding Day and booked again for the night of their Wedding.
The next morning Breakfast can be served to husband & wife! either in their room or in the Restaurant.  

The price for the above including 2 nights accommodation & breakfast, Swimming for three and Dinner for two is £202.00 including VAT.

WEDDING CEREMONY DETAILS

Beachlands Hotel is an approved premises for the solemnisation of marriages in pursuance of Section 26(1)(bb) of the Marriage Act 1949.

Room Hire   Room A capacity seated 60 guests .....£195.00
Room B capacity seated 40 guests .....£120.00
Room C capacity seated 15 guests ......£95.00
  (additional capacity can be made with standing room)

Included in the cost of Room Hire is the management of Music during the Ceremony and any guidance/ushering your guests require leading up to and during the Ceremony.

NB. You will need to co-ordinate with the Registrar directly with regards to date, registry office costs, time and content of the ceremony.

There is no obligation to have your Wedding Ceremony at the hotel.
However, a Wedding Ceremony cannot be held if it is not followed by a Wedding Reception at Beachlands.

TERMS OF PAYMENT

  1. An un-redeemable deposit of £10.00 per anticipated guest is due at the time of confirmation.
  2. Full payment of agreed foreseeable expenses are requested no later than 7 days prior to the Wedding Day.
  3. Final settlement of extras is to be made no later than 2 days after the Wedding Day.
  4. NB: Weddings held over a Bank Holiday Weekend or on a Friday or Saturday in December carry a Hotel Hire charge of £700. Please ask for further details if this may apply to thedates you are looking at.
  5. Any damage caused by any member of the Wedding party and their guests, accidental or not, will be liable for compensation.

Important Conditions to Reservations

Between the 1st July 2006 and 31st August 2006 our Main Restaurant, which can seat up to 110, is available for Receptions from 12 noon with guests being required to vacate the room by 5.30pm. From 1st September 2006 to 30th June 2007 we are able to offer you our Main Restaurant for the continuation of your Wedding Celebrations with an Evening Reception until 12 midnight.

There is Car Parking at the front and rear of the Hotel as well as easy parking within a few minutes of the Hotel in the surrounding area.

For younger guests we are happy to provide high chairs, booster seats, children’s meals and play packs to make their day more enjoyable as well. Please let us know in advance if any of these items are required.

Should any of your guests wish to stay overnight we are pleased to offer the following special Bed & Breakfast rates; May to September 2006 inclusive £100 per double room per night for one night or £85 per double room per night for two nights or more. October 2006 to April 2007 inclusive £85 per double room per night for one night or £60 per double room per night for two nights or more. All rates are inclusive of VAT at 17.5% and use of the Indoor Pool & Sauna. All rooms are subject to availability & clause 4 of Terms of Payment. They need to be confirmed in writing with a £20 deposit per room per night. NB Check In is 2.00pm on the day of arrival.

Our Music Licence runs until midnight and we are happy to give you ideas, names and contact numbers for discos etc should you require them.

Guests requiring dishes for special diets such as diabetics, gluten free, vegan etc can always be catered for if we know in advance. If any of your guests are particularly anxious with regard to their food requirements, they can of course contact our Head Chef and talk about it directly with him.

You are by all means welcome to make full use of our Garden (weather permitting!) for photos and pre-reception drinks.

All of our menus have been created to give you an indication of what can be provided for receptions with more than 30 guests - we would of course be delighted to change the menus around or introduce your own favourite dish. The important factor is that Beachlands provides exactly what you want! For receptions of less than 30 we recommend our Daily Restaurant Menu please ask for details.
